Hermann Frederic

Dr Frederic Hermann M.Sc. completed his studies in dentistry from 1997 to 2002 at the Medical Faculty of the University of Leipzig in Germany. State examination and approbation followed in 2002 and 2005 the doctorate to Dr. medical dent. at the same university. From 2003 to 2007, postgraduate training in the field of implantology and periodontology took place in a private practice in southern Germany, as well as the completion of the curricula in these specialist areas. Dr Hermann has been an ICOI diplomat and “Certified Expert in Implantology” since 2006. Recertification took place in 2012, 2016 and 2021.

Dr Hermann has been based at TEAM 15 – Dental Practice in Zug, Switzerland, since 2007. He is a member in numerous dental societies:  APW, DGParo, DGI, SSO and SGI and received the advanced training certificate (WBA) for oral implantology and the designation advanced training practice for general dentistry from the Swiss Dental Society SSO in 2016. Dr Hermann is a founding member of the “DGI Next(e) Generation” that was founded in 2012 and is an active member of the Practice and Science Committee of the DGI (German Society for implantology).

Internship and supervision practice at the DGI and academic teaching practice at the University for Digital Technologies in Medicine & Dentistry (DTMD).

From 2013 to 2015 he completed the extra-occupational master’s degree in “Clinical Dental CAD/CAM” at the University of Greifswald/Germany.

Dr Hermann is the author of numerous publications and international speaker in the fields of periodontology, implantology and digital dentistry, as well as in the context of the APW-DGI Curriculum Implantology and numerous continuum courses.
